Project Integration Management

  • AMR has the expert knowledge and proven experience to integrate and manage all key project management services that are crucial to a project’s success while successfully addressing and responding to the client’s priorities and objectives.
  • AMR is experienced in integrating construction projects within a 24/7 operational environment, such as an operating electrified rail and freeway environment and specialist university areas.
  • AMR leads projects with a collaborative team approach to ensure the client and the input of stakeholders are taken on board and addressed effectively.

Scope Management

  • Project Brief: AMR holds a number of meetings with the project owners to fully understand and define the project scope, and prepare a comprehensive project brief for the client’s sign off.
  • Scope Gaps: AMR concentrates on eliminating scope gaps due to unexpected or misunderstood interface issues between key project disciplines and/or packages of works.

TIME, COST AND QUALITY MANAGEMENT

  • AMR prepares reviews, updates project schedules and reports against base line objectives for the project. Project Schedules are included in the overall project design and construction schedules to suit the requirements of each project. Project scheduling is an important risk management tool in all of the projects that AMR manages and is also a key component of contract administration and project control.
  • Where necessary, AMR develops detailed program analysis and comparative studies to assess the impact of various delays on the program in relation to the validity of matters such as Extension of Time claims.

Project Risk Management

  • AMR is highly experienced in identifying and managing project risks.
  • Risks are best identified in a group workshop setting, recorded, detailed, analysed, and rated using the client’s risk assessment tool. They are then monitored and re-evaluated as the project progresses. AMR’s rigorous risk management process includes identification, assessment, mitigation and monitoring.

Communications Management

  • Positive Team Approach: AMR works closely with clients, their staff and relevant stakeholders to develop a teamwork strategy. This ensures a high level of project team commitment, a highly effective and collaborative project team, appropriate communication processes, and staff and stakeholder engagement.
  • Managing Stakeholders: AMR integrates the project strategy with the shareholders’ requirements, and engages with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the greatest possible outcome.

Procurement Management

  • Procurement model: AMR has experience with Construct only, Design & Construct, Early Contractor Involvement and Alliance Contracting.
  • Procurement Processes: AMR works within strict procurement processes with extensive experience in both government and private sector covering the management of Expression of Interest's (EOIs), tendering, negotiation and contract award.

Contract Management and Superintendency Services

  • As Superintendent and Superintendent’s Representative, AMR has administered Australian Standards Contracts (AS2124, AS4000, AS4300, AS4122, AS4905 and AS4910, AS 4902) for the Department of Education and Training, the Ministry of Justice, Westralia Airports Corporation, Public Transport Authority, the Department of Housing and Works and the Department of Finance.
